Santo Tomas, Baja California, Mexico
This little enclave is off the main road by 40 minutes on a dirt and gravel road. Cattle, cliffs, bumps, and weather require keen attention while driving.
Hills on both sides hide the golden view at the coast, called La Boca.
I have tent camped many times here. There is also a set of houses that can be rented.
Brothers
In a small border town, Los Algodones, in Baja California, Mexico. This home is about 20 feet from the US/Mexico border fence.

sea water washes
Bahia de las Animas, Baja California, Mexico.
This excessively remote bay was difficult to get to.
Adding to the remoteness is the 113°f desert and a bad choice of going off the trail. But i made it to this amazing white sand beaches.
Some of the paths were washed out by salt water tides. Another "not so great" decision was to drive through a number of them. The brake warning light is still on in my jeep. All the other lights turned off eventually. After the adventuring, i had to go back through them all.
The "road" headed south-west was so much NOT a road that i thought i was lost. Road was a set of ruts winding through the desert. Sun going down, and half a tank of gas...
